Bicycle Indiana promotes safe bicycling, educates roadway users on Indiana bicycling law, and advocates for the rights of all bicyclists in Indiana.
Who we are:
Bicycle Indiana, incorporated in 1993, is a member-based organization consisting of like-minded people, organizations, businesses and bicycle dealers who are committed to improving all aspects of bicycling in Indiana.
Bicycle Indiana's board and members work toward making Indiana a more safe and enjoyable state where we can ride bicycles for transportation, recreation and profession.
What we do:
Bicycle Indiana is the only statewide organization dedicated to promoting bicycle use, educating all roadway users and advocating for bicyclists in Indiana.
We promote bicycle use for health, recreation, competition, sport, travel and commuting. We also educate users of Indiana's roadways by offering a variety of safety programs, services and literature. And we advocate for the rights of bicyclists at all levels of government.
Why?
Because collectively we can achieve more. As a coalition representing the voice of all bicyclists in Indiana we are 1.5 million strong. we also strive to maximize the rights and voice of bicyclists in Indiana. And to urge Indiana policy-makers that planning roadways, bikeways, and greenways suitable for all bicyclists is a priority. Also to advance bicycling in Indiana.
